The studio

Small team. Short feedback loops.

NOBBO is a video studio in Dhaka. We're deliberately small — the person you brief is the person in the edit — and we've built our own tooling so that being small never means being slow to answer.

What we believe

Attention is
earned in the
first second.

Beautiful footage that nobody finishes watching is expensive wallpaper. So we plan for the edit before the shoot: what the hook is, where it's watched, and whether it still works with the sound off.

We work in Bangla and English, and we treat both as first-class — not a translation bolted on at the end. Subtitles, pacing and music are chosen for the audience that's actually going to see it, and a founder who speaks Bangla on camera sounds like himself rather than like a man reading a second language off a card.

How we're different

We built our
own studio system.

Most of the frustration with video production isn't the video. It's not knowing where things stand. So we fixed that part ourselves instead of apologising for it.

For clients

A real dashboard

Log in and see your projects, current status, what's coming and every finished file — any time, without asking anyone.

Look inside
For the work

Brand memory

Your preferences, references and past feedback are kept on file, so each project starts smarter than the last one did.

For speed

AI where it helps

We use AI for the boring parts — transcripts, subtitles, first-pass organisation — so our editors spend their hours on the cut instead.

Inside a project

What a fortnight
looks like.

Not a promise — a pattern. Most brand films run roughly like this, and you can see which line you're on from your login at any point.

Call and brief

Thirty minutes on what you're making and why. We write it up, you sign it off, and the scope stops moving.

Days 1–2

Script and shot list

The through-line agreed in writing, then a shot list built for every deliverable in the brief — including the vertical ones.

Days 3–5

Shoot

Small crew, tight schedule, covered for both frames. We shoot for the edit we already know we need.

Days 6–7

First cut and review

Cut in your dashboard within 48 hours of wrap. Notes go in against the timecode; they arrive with the editor as tasks.

Days 8–10

Grade, mix, deliver

Colour, sound, subtitles, exports. Everything lands in your login and stays there.

Days 11–14

Straight answer

“We'd rather say no than deliver something we wouldn't show anyone.”

If a brief isn't right for us — wrong budget, wrong timeline, wrong fit — we'll say so on the first call and point you somewhere better. It costs both of us less than finding out in week three.

Come say hello

Coffee in Dhaka, or a call if you're elsewhere. Either way, bring the messy version of the idea.
